Service Desk Overview

The Service Desk feature allows users to create service requests, which can then be assigned to staff, and responded to in the form of back and forth replies.

Typically this is used by customers who have issues with property facilities, maintenance, fees or disturbances.

Multiple service desks can be created, and individual service desks can have individual Service Request Types. Service Request Types are the list of you expose to users allowing them to roughly select the nature of their request, e.g. billing, maintenance, security etc. so that requests can be assigned to the most appropriate staff.

To manage service desks, select "admin" under the user menu, and choose Service Desk.
